Abba Santander Hotel, Santander

The hotel is ideal for the ferry next morning, with excellent rooms, but not a great dining experience. The service was fantastic and more than helpful. The location was excellent, though a little noisy at times. The breakfast was buffet style and efficient. Overall, a good value for money stay.

My room contained one notable feature I've never seen anywhere else: a single switch by the bedside which instantly turned off all light in the room. The hotel is conveniently located near the train station, shops, and cafes within walking distance. The rooms were clean and spacious, although the mattresses could do with being replaced as they were a bit soft and springy.
